I have served as an independent, non-executive director on private company, sporting body and not-for-profit boards.
I bring to boardrooms expertise in strategy, marketing, brand, communications, leadership, culture, crisis management and stakeholder engagement. Added to this is a diversity of industry experience and knowledge.
I am known for ensuring transparency and accountability in leadership, culture, and boardroom behaviour and performance.
Past boards I have worked with are SHINE For Kids, Central Innovation, Tennis NSW, Trish MS Research Foundation, and the Northern Suburbs Tennis Association. Challenging issues I have led to resolution include:
- Constitutional change
- CEO recruitment
- New revenue streams
- Board structure, composition and recruitment
- Board behaviour and training
- Introduction of whistleblower policy, support and procedures
- Governance: updating of policies and procedures
- Funder relations
- Brand and reputation
- Financial viability and sustainability
I also contribute to the Lane Cove Tennis Club as Secretary, reflecting my love for the game.
I choose board and committee positions very carefully. The people and the organisation’s purpose and values need to fit with me. It is important that there is mutual understanding and agreement of what I can bring to the organisation’s vision and activities.
I am open to exploring opportunities with you.
